Individual Therapy

We all have the innate ability to heal, and choosing to develop a therapeutic relationship and process life stressors and difficulties of your past can facilitate great change. Therapy doesn’t have to only focus on “presenting problems” and issues, but also what is going RIGHT in your life and tapping into your strengths to develop internal growth and personal development.

Therapy isn’t just for those that have mental health struggles. If you are a human being, you have suffered in some way and have some stressor to work through. We all need to work on ourselves, so truly anyone can benefit.

I believe developing insight into your how your past impacts current patterns, exploring difficult emotions, and focusing on how to move forward and find solutions in the present are the best combination.

Trauma, attachment ruptures, unmet needs, and other life experiences impact how we think and act and we will uncover if that has played a role in your current life. We will look at the defenses and unhelpful ways you’ve been coping and find new ways to regulate your emotions, tolerate discomfort, and manage your mental health.

In your first session, we will develop an individualized treatment plan together and prioritize goals that serve your needs and assess frequency (usually weekly sessions, twice a week if clinically needed). Sessions are typically 50 minutes, though we can discuss that further.

Whether it’s through incorporating EMDR, DBT/CBT, holistic practices, trauma recovery and somatic work, mindfulness, attachment focused or several approaches at once- we will develop trust, openness, and foster growth together. The therapeutic relationship is the core of the work regardless of training and approach, so my priority is developing a safe and trusting space together.

I will support you in looking at why your patterns or symptoms are present, identify the root cause, work on healing experiences from the past, AND work on strategies to cope and move forward in the present.

Welcome To Your First Step In Healing!

Supervision & Consultation

Being a therapist is one of the most rewarding and beautiful, yet challenging jobs. To hold space for your clients going through life, while also navigating our own humanness is tricky. It’s extremely important to have your own support system and make sure you are being taken care of too. For therapists searching for a supervisor, I would be happy to assist! I provide clinical supervision to mental health professionals looking to work through your cases, get consultation and guidance, develop your unique therapist skill and grow as a clinician, and build a career that feels fulfilling and meaningful. I will be there to help provided support, accountability, feedback, validation, and make sure we are hitting the intentions and goals you came with. Through exploration, countertransference work, guided practices and teaching, and making sure you are creating a true work-life balance, together we will make sure you are showing up for your clients and yourself at a pace that feels sustainable.

If you are interested in consultation around a case, your career, about building a private practice, running support groups, social media, or marketing - I offer as needed consultations as well!

Please reach out to me to schedule a free phone consultation to discuss your needs!

I have been in the field for 10 years, received my MSW from NYU in 2018, and been a clinical supervisor to other therapists for several years now. I have worked in PHP/IOP, group practice, and private practice settings. To learn more about my background, check out my about me page.

  • No, I am not in-network with any insurances. • I am a trained LCSW psychotherapist, I received my Masters of Social Work from NYU in 2018. I bring a relational, trauma and somatic, holistic and compassionate lens. I am trained in EMDR, DBT, mindfulness based approaches, and somatic therapies. I can also pull from CBT if needed! I am talk therapy based but bring in mind-body connection and exercises. I work collaboratively and integrate different approaches to individualize treatment needs.

  • In order for therapy to be effective and for me to get to know you - therapy requires a consistent frequency. I recommend starting weekly, though can accommodate for twice a week or bi-weekly (every other) depending on clinical need after discussion. After therapy goals have been met, we can drop in frequency over time with a minimum of monthly sessions. In terms of longevity - this completely depends! I do work long term so the therapy process can last anywhere from 3-6 months to years! If you are looking for shorter term work like EMDR specifically or mostly skills based work, I'm happy to accommodate if clinically appropriate.
